I had a mixed experience at Holly Cottages. while the location was perfect and the hospitality from Jan and Nico was warm and welcoming, I encountered a few issues in my room that dampened my stay. The cottage was clean, and the shared bathroom facilities were well-maintained, but the room itself was quite small and not as spacious as I had hoped.

My stay at Holly Cottages was just fantastic! The location couldn't be better, right in the heart of Bowness and super close to the lake. Nico and Jan were amazing hosts, always ready to help out, and the place was spotlessly clean. The only downside I noticed was that it could use a bit more lighting on the balcony for those cozy evenings. Still, I can't wait to come back!
